Finally, my lips are unsealed about this! ... not that they were in the first place, but anyway ... Stranger Than Fiction is officially getting started next week! Woot! We've got the teaser up and running already - that is, myself and Starlet-Esper

So! What IS Stranger than Fiction? WELL ... in a nutshell, characters from all your favourite shows, books, movies, games, whatever! have moved in together on the one street! Stranger Than will follow yours truly and Starlet-Esper around said neighbourhood - we've got skits and running gags with all your favourite characters, focusing on two main houses for now - the Cullen household (yes, scream your lungs out) AND Black Books (where Erik the Phantom of the opera, and Draco Malfoy, have invaded Bernard's hole).

Lol I'm pumped Hopefully we'll be updating weekly from right here, so stay tuned for comic goodness. Not that many people are watching this space ... guys, hurry up and watch! You'll be missing out .... (lol)

Oh yes! Before I forget ... Ashe Rhyder (www.asherhyder.deviantart.com) gave us permission to use her brilliant ideas in our comic - go check out her stuff, it's the ORIGINAL and seriously awesome ... Labfans, phans, pocfans, and les mis fans unite! They crack us up every time, let us tell you that.

So I not only completely/fully/utterly understand what all the fuss about Twilight is, but I've joined in on the fuss myself. I might just point out that I've never read a vampire series that can compare to Twilight before.

Aside from which, I've also bought Night Watch, and the Phantom of the Opera and Hairspray sheet music. Piano lessons starting next week ... *rubs hands* Can't wait ! For once, I'm actually excited about piano. Lolwow - took me eight years, but I got there.

In other news, I really need a job so I can buy myself more books. *sigh*

Once again, I find myself surprised by the sudden obsession of my friends in the Twilight series. I've never read it. I'd never even heard of it till a couple of weeks ago. I'm thinking perhaps I should check it out ...

After I hunt down the remaining Shane Maloney books, that is.

Ugh ... melodramatics. Call me inconsiderate, but I loathe OTT drama. And emo-ness.

Onto a happier topic (I can say anything I want here, and I'll just be speaking to myself ... XD) I have a newfound appreciation for Shane Maloney. A funnier or cleverer writer I've not found since Terry Pratchett. Not that I'm particularly wide-read. So I'm thinking I should seriously invest in some Australian talent and snap up all his books for myself. I have one already with a rather attractive picture of David Wenham on the cover.

Gotta love David Wenham.

Unfortunately, my brilliant photography is limited to noob shots of generic subjects ... oh well. With time and practise, I shall prevail!

Equally unfortunately, I'm uploading all these noob shots to avoid doing the REAL work ... study for my next exam in three days. Pch. but of course, due to this splitting headache of mine, work is out of the question ... Where did all those resolutions of working hard to get 98+ for my HSC go?
